Alessia Maniaci

I’m a graphic design student with a growing passion for visual storytelling and a constant curiosity for how design influences the way people see and feel things. My journey into design started from a simple interest in aesthetics and evolved into a deeper understanding of communication, where every visual choice has a purpose. Through my studies, I’ve been building a strong foundation in typography, layout, and branding, while also experimenting with different styles to understand what truly represents me. I enjoy the process as much as the outcome—sketching ideas, refining concepts, and seeing a project slowly take shape. My design philosophy is simple: design should feel intentional and honest. I’m drawn to clean, thoughtful visuals, but I also like adding subtle details that create emotion and personality. I try to approach every project with curiosity and sensitivity, asking not just “how does it look?” but “what does it say?” Some of the projects I’ve enjoyed the most include creating visual identities, working on editorial layouts, and experimenting with typography as a form of expression. I like challenges that push me to think differently and step outside of my comfort zone. Right now, I’m still exploring and shaping my style, and that’s what excites me the most. I’m motivated to keep learning, improving, and finding my place in the design world—one project at a time.
