Sobre la familia

Bio Sans Soft is a super-neutral sans-serif type family designed by Ryoichi Tsunekawa, tailored for text and all-purpose design.

The family includes 6 weights, from ExtraLight to ExtraBold, each with matching italics, offering versatile options for both print and digital use.

Built on the same core philosophy as the widely popular Bebas Neue, Bio Sans Soft embraces a design ethos that is neutral, natural, minimal, harmless, super-flat, transparent, and above all, legible.

The typeface features a geometrically constructed skeleton softened with subtle, rounded details for a friendly, approachable appearance.
Its large x-height ensures excellent readability, even at small sizes and on high-density screens, while the refined letterforms provide a sense of clarity, unity, and universality—ideal for any design context.

Bio Sans Soft supports almost all Latin-based languages, including Western, Central, and South Eastern European languages, as well as Afrikaans.
It also includes advanced OpenType features such as:

- Proportional, superior, and inferior figures

- Denominators, numerators, fractions

- Ordinals and case-sensitive forms

Whether used for body text, UI, editorial, or branding, Bio Sans Soft is a reliable, modern sans-serif designed for effortless communication.
