Sobre la familia

Cabot is a distinctive serif typeface family featuring a bracketed serif design, with a slight kink in it. It's an extensive family spanning 7 weights (Light to Black) and seven widths (Ultra Condensed to Extra Wide), in both roman and italic forms, making it extremely versatile for all kinds of text applications from print to screen and from book to headline and display. The lighter weights create an elegant air, while the heavier weights suggest a powerful presence. All of the Cabot fonts have an extended character set that supports many Western European languages, and each offers a array of OpenType features including ligatures, proportional and tabular figures, superiors and inferiors, unlimited fractions and ordinals.

Acerca de Park Street Studio

Park Street Studio was founded in 2012 and is dedicated to creating high quality new typefaces, for both text and display, and fully OpenType supported. I also do custom typeface design work and expert OpenType and Webtype production. I have been in the business 40+ years, beginning my type career at the Linotype offices in NYC in the early 80's. I worked for a brief stint in a photo-lettering shop on east 43rd St in NYC before moving to Boston and working for Bitstream for the next 27 years. In 2012 I went independent and opened Park Street Studio. I split my time between PSS and BluHead Studio and other collaborative efforts with partners Brian Bonislawsky (Stiggy & Sands) and Eliza Gwendalyn (Studioways).
