Sobre la familia

Casiopea is a display font inspired by the intricate and mystical imagery of Mayan mythology. Each letterform embodies the essence of mythical creatures, jaguars, serpents, and celestial beings, with sweeping curves, angular cuts, and carved-like details evoking the textures of ancient stone glyphs.

The font is named after a courageous young girl from a Mexican folktale who journeys to Xibalba, the Mayan underworld, alongside a fallen god seeking redemption. The font mirrors her story, combining elements of traditional Mayan iconography with contemporary design sensibilities, creating a bridge between the ancient and the modern.

Perfect for titles, posters, and branding projects with a mythological or cultural theme, Casiopea commands attention with its unique blend of history, storytelling, and artistry.

A fascination with letterforms from an early age has led him to create fonts, influenced by many different historical periods.
