Sobre la familia

East is a simple and confident typeface that blends timelessness with a hint of nostalgia reminiscent of vintage Jazz albums, film credits, newspapers, and signage. The Light weight offers excellent legibility at small sizes, while the Extra Bold weight is designed to capture attention. Its condensed width allows for a significant amount of text to fit in limited space, making East a versatile choice for various applications. Ideal for film titles, labels, packaging, posters, and publications, it excels in designs where space is at a premium. East features six weights ranging from Light to Extra Bold, and a variable font with weight and slant axes is included with a full family purchase. The OpenType features encompass stylistic sets, a one-story ‘a’, hooked letters, a seriffed uppercase I and 1, a slashed zero, raised colon and punctuation (Spanish), several German eszetts, ligatures, diverse bullets, and vertically stacked pre-built fractions. This typeface supports Western and Central European languages, as well as other Latin-based written languages, enhancing its usability across different design contexts.
