Acerca de Habitype

Habitype is a type foundry aimed at creating typefaces for brand and graphic designers. Built from a designer's perspective, we know exactly how much influence a font can have on a design. But, choosing a font that has a character but still functional and flexible is often painful, and Habitype exists to heal that pain. Habitype focuses on creating typefaces that have distinct character, but at the same time, are flexible and easy to use across a wide design context. We split the difference between a wildly experimental type and a neutral-flat typeface. The Habitype catalog focuses on crafting distinct sans-serifs, modern serifs, and display fonts devoid of unnecessary visual noise. The name Habitype is a combination of word "Habitat" and "Type," representing our vision to become a habitat for a wide variety of unique and functional typefaces. Because we believe that every design deserves its own unique typeface.
