Indratama Yogi

Indratama Yogi is a type designer and founder of New Yeast Foundry, based in Bali. He works across type design, visual systems, and editorial typography, with a strong interest in how structure, discipline, and experimentation can coexist within a single type system. His work is shaped by architectural thinking and a system-driven approach, focusing on clarity, consistency, and real-world usability. Living and working in Bali, an environment defined by constant movement between tradition, craftsmanship, and global influence, he draws inspiration from dynamic cultural rhythms and spatial contrasts. Through New Yeast Foundry, he develops typefaces that are tested under pressure and designed to support designers, studios, and creative professionals across print and digital contexts. He believes typography should be functional first, expressive through restraint, and built to endure.
