New Yeast Foundry is an independent type foundry focused on disciplined experimentation and structural clarity. Rooted in modernist principles and refined through contemporary design systems, the foundry approaches type design as an architectural process - measured, deliberate, and built to endure. We design typefaces that prioritize function without sacrificing character. Each project is developed through testing across editorial, spatial, and digital environments, resulting in fonts that feel precise, controlled, and quietly expressive. Our work draws from Western typographic foundations while embracing cross-cultural influences, allowing structure and movement to coexist within a single system.
