Griffin Moore
Griffin Moore is a designer based in Brooklyn, New York. His interest in typography began as a child– drawing pixel fonts for his computer game projects. While studying at Rochester Institute of Technology he had the fortune of taking several classes taught by Charles Bigelow, co-creator of the Lucida and Wingdings font families. These classes and further instruction by Bigelow, inspired Moore to begin designing typefaces of his own. This hobby steadily continued as he left school and began his professional career as a graphic designer. In 2014, Moore launched a website, Pilgrim Fonts, to sell his fonts as he continued to learn and improve. This experience greatly aided his understanding of the commercial font world and further inspired him to continue his growth as a type designer.
