About the family

Based on wood engraving letters, Barrilito is a uniform looking design, recommended for titles and to generate a visual texture, its bloated letters give a compact sensation. Barrilito has a lot of ligatures allowing to have a wide scope of options to set a block title text, this typeface is a great option for striking short sentences and single words. Barrilito comes with TT hinting for better performance on screens.

CocijoType is a typefoundry with designers working in Mexico and the United Arab Emirates. We focus on both custom and retail fonts, we also do font modifications from our type designs. Our fonts are carefully crafted and manually hinted for better screen rendering. We have received prizes from Communication Arts Typography Competition and the Latin American Biennial Tipos Latinos.
