About the family

Inspired by the beautiful baroque-style font Batarde, released by the Bauersche Giesserei at the beginning of the 20th century, the font was freshly redrawn and redesigned for modern use. The glyphs are mostly joining. The letters F, L, M, N, Q, T, d, and s have stylistic alternatives. The curved d can be reached by typing the partialdiff sign [ ∂ ], or by changing the normal d into its alternative using the OT-feature. The s comes in two variants, with and without an upstroke.
