Carlos Candray is a Salvadoran graphic and type designer with experience in editorial design, lettering, and typeface creation. He is the founder of CentroType, an independent foundry that promotes emerging typographic voices from Central America. His work draws inspiration from art, culture, and travel, exploring the letter as a living and expressive form. He also teaches at the university level in the fields of typeform studies and design, encouraging critical and experimental development among new generations of designers.
