About the family

The CMX typeface was developed as a tribute to a unique style of font that distinguishes Mexican cities, especially Mexico City. Its name means 'Mexican City (CMX),' encompassing not only Mexico City but all the cities, towns, and districts of the country.

This typeface is a clean, easy-to-read sans-serif Gothic style. Its characters offer two types of use: formal and informal. It consists of twenty styles divided into regular and alternate (informal) forms. Each style contains five weights: Thin, Light, Regular, Bold, and Extra Bold; each style also includes an italic form.

This typeface is perfectly suited for any graphic design use, particularly signage, corporate, and editorial applications where large texts need to be emphasized.
