Truong Van Cuong is an independent type designer and the founder of 177Studio. His interest in lettering and typography grew from a desire to create distinctive and practical visual tools for designers, brands, and creative professionals. He develops typefaces from initial ideas and hand-drawn sketches into complete digital font families. His work explores a broad range of styles, including serif, sans serif, display, script, blackletter, geometric, futuristic, and experimental designs. With careful attention to letterforms, rhythm, spacing, personality, and usability, he creates typefaces for branding, editorial design, packaging, advertising, headlines, and digital projects.
