Dimas Nirwan's design journey began in 2008, driven by a deep passion for hand lettering, typography, and logo design. What started as simple sketches has evolved into a lifelong fascination with shaping letters and crafting unique visual identities. By 2014, he made the leap into the professional realm as a graphic designer, specializing in visual identity and brand logo creation. In 2016, Dimas further refined his skills in typography, calligraphy, and hand lettering, dedicating himself to mastering type design through e-courses, tutorials, and extensive experimentation by 2018. Coffee serves as both his fuel and creative companion at the design desk, playing an integral role in the process of bringing new fonts to life. After years of exploration and refinement, he founded Nirfonic, an independent micro-studio digital type foundry committed to creating fonts that embody character and narrative. Today, Dimas continues to blend his passion for letterforms and visual identity, fueled by coffee and an insatiable curiosity to elevate creativity. Nirfonic stands out in the market by focusing on distinctive typefaces that cater to various industries, including editorial, tech, and retail, ensuring each font tells a unique story.
