Donald® always liked eating, and became a real foodie when working as an assistant cook in various restaurants during his studies at the Royal Academy (KABK) in The Hague.
At that renowned school, he also acquired a taste for type and lettering... especially fat letters, because fat is yummy! And yummy is fun!
Donald is also a web designer and communications adviser, as well as a saxophone player in the Dutch type designers' band Wolfraam, founded in 2005 for the presentation of the book Dutch Type and still going strong.
