Floodfonts
Floodfonts is an independent type foundry based in Cologne, Germany and was founded in the year 2000 by Felix Braden. The foundry specializes in highly legible contemporary typefaces that work well in both digital and print environments. In 2013 Felix was one of the winners of Communication Arts’ Typography Annual with his FF Scuba typeface and was mentioned in numerous favourite typefaces lists: Fontshop’s Best Types, Typographica’s Favorite Typefaces (honorable mention), Typefacts best fonts and Typecache’s favorite typefaces. Kontiki aka Pulpo Rust was nominated for the German Design Award 2019. His commercial fonts are distributed by Monotype, Adobe, Fontwerk, Fountain, URW++, Volcanotype, Ligature Inc and are available via Myfonts, Fontspring, Fontshop, You Work For Them and in the Adobe Creative Cloud.
