About the family

Fortecs is a timeless classic serif typeface that elegantly balances traditional craftsmanship with contemporary appeal. Designed by Skinny Type in 2025, this font showcases robust serifs and carefully sculpted letterforms that convey both strength and sophistication. Each character is meticulously crafted to provide exceptional readability and charm, making it ideal for a wide range of applications from editorial design and branding to packaging and formal invitations.

Fortecs offers multiple styles, including Regular, Italic, and Oblique, allowing designers versatile options to enhance typographic hierarchy and expressiveness in their projects. The italic version complements the upright styles with fluidity and grace, while the oblique style provides a subtle slant that maintains clarity and impact.

This serif typeface excels in creating a distinguished, authoritative presence while maintaining warmth and approachability. Its classic proportions and slight modulation in stroke width make it a refined choice for those seeking a font that bridges the gap between tradition and modernity.

About Skinny Type

Rolled first into the game as a Graphic Designer circa 2017, then expanded his capabilities as an Illustrator to 2019. The confusion in my head, took him to a new realm of Font Design and Fonts.Creating letters ends up as his new ninja's way of surviving. I took the game to the next level by starting a casting type with the name Skinny Type (2019).I also find it fun to experiment with social media content in her spare time. And I will continue to venture into the world of letter design in the future, maybe even after I have children.
