Jordan Jelev
Jordan Jelev is a Bulgarian calligrapher, typographer and wine label designer with a career path to design that is as interesting as his highly skilled portfolio. Jelev first got experience in design in 1994. Then, while studying for a degree in economics, he was tempting for a type design studio where his true talents became apparent. He is noted for his work with award winning wine labels and remarkable calligraphy artwork, although his portfolio spans all areas of graphic design. He uses both 'traditional' and digital tools including bayonette and copperplate nibs, parallel and automatic pens, ink droppers, brushes, and a Wacom tablet for the digital stuff. Since 2010 he owns a small, but promising, type design studio called The Fontmaker.
