About the family

A macho sans-serif with a subtle flair, Manco PB started as a revival of a 5 font film typeface called Monza by LetterGraphics - a casual bold typestyle. Manco PB is a consolidation of that original family into 3 fonts: Regular (Casual), Smallcaps, and Smash - with the original "Biform" becoming a Stylistic Alternates feature in all of the fonts, and the "Interlock" becoming a Swash feature as Swash Capitals within the Regular style, and a more robust true Interlocking within the Smallcaps style between Capitals and Smallcaps along with a collection of ligatures. For the Interlock look in Manco Smallcaps, enable Stylistic Alternates and play typing a mix of Capitals and lowercase (SmallCaps) or pick and choose through the character palette.

If you're wondering where you might recognize this type style from, you may have seen it on posters for the 1971 motorcycle film, "Angels Hard as They Come".

So are you ready to toughen up and take on the design highways with Manco PB? Legibility, adaptability, and playfulness all in one.
