I joined The Northern Block Type Foundry in 2012 after successfully completing a Master of Arts in Future Design at Teesside University. During the final year of study I chose to focus on typography and developed my interest of type. Prior to becoming a typeface designer and completing my apprenticeship with The Northern Block my background was in graphics, illustration and the Russian language. I'm passionate about the Swiss style which is reflected in my type design work and fits perfectly with The Northern Blocks ideology.
