About the family

Mr. Skrepka is a striking condensed display typeface inspired by Slavic lettering traditions. It features sharp, expressive forms combined with a clean, modern structure, making it ideal for bold and confident visual communication. Designed for high-impact applications, this typeface excels in logos, large headlines, posters, signage, packaging, and branding systems. Its narrow proportions make it an excellent choice for space-conscious layouts without sacrificing visual presence. What distinguishes Mr. Skrepka is its harmonious balance between cultural character and clarity. The design draws from Slavic forms while maintaining a controlled, contemporary aesthetic, allowing it to feel unique without becoming overly decorative. The typeface includes stylistic alternates and ligatures, providing designers with the flexibility to shape tone and rhythm within their compositions. Mr. Skrepka supports extended Latin and Cyrillic character sets, along with fractions, ligatures, and a comprehensive set of currency symbols, including the ruble sign. Additionally, it features two custom paperclip symbols, adding a subtle yet recognizable detail to the font’s identity. For optimal pairing, Mr. Skrepka complements neutral grotesque or humanist sans-serif typefaces, allowing it to take the lead as a display voice while the companion font supports longer texts.
