Founded in 1980 as Nippon Information Science, our company began by independently developing outline fonts inclded with early personal computers. As our products became available to general users, the name “NIS Font” was born derived from the initials of our English name, Nippon Information Science. Since then, we have continued to create fonts that are distinctive, artistic, distinct from traditional existing typefaces.
