OMTYPE is a small type foundry based in St. Petersburg, founded by Oleg Matsuev in 2008. In our typefaces, we strive to combine a rich typographic and calligraphic tradition with modern digital technologies. We are known for our interest in the history of the Cyrillic alphabet, but we also have extensive experience in multilingual typography. According to OMTYPE, the recipe for a good typeface is functionality, carefully crafted details, and attention to style and quality.
