About the family

Inspired by the elegant calligraphy of a parchment diploma issued by the Colombian House of Representatives in 1984, Proposición 141 honors Dr. José Antonio Vargas Ríos, who was murdered in a State crime that remains unpunished.

Originally written with a broad nib pen, this ornamental calligraphic typeface blends the grace of historical handwriting with modern OpenType features, including ligatures, stylistic alternates, decorative initials, and terminal forms.

Perfect for certificates, diplomas, commemorative publications, invitations, and refined editorial work, Proposición 141 is more than a font—it is a tool for design, a vessel for memory, and a quiet call for justice.
