Proscenium Arch - An Ultra-Wide Cinematic Sci-Fi Font

Proscenium Arch is a wide format and futuristic font designed to complement the cinematic aspect ratio of big-screen sci-fi adventures.

Inspired by the typography of opening titles and credit sequences, Proscenium Arch was created to match letterbox-style aspect ratios, typical of 35, 65, or 70mm cinema film formats. It boasts a clean, legible style with design touches that lean towards ideas of technology and science fiction.

It works equally well across print and digital media, making for impactful headers or quotes for magazine editorials, album art, or social media.

It comes in three weights: Light, Regular, and Bold, along with italic styles, all including complete uppercase and lowercase alphabets, numerals, punctuation, symbols, and multilingual support. Also included are alternative ligatures that push the sci-fi vibes even further.

About Wing's Art Studio

Christopher King (aka Wingsart Studio) is a Graphic Designer specialising in hand-drawn lettering for film and television titles. From blockbuster films to indie press, Wingsart Studio fonts have appeared on screens big and small around the globe. His work has been used by companies including Disney, Marvel, Apple, Netflix and Paramount Studios. The Wingsart Studio philosophy is to embrace the imperfections inherent with real pens, pencils, paper and brush. In counter-balance to an AI driven age, these fonts remain refreshingly analogue and proud of their human touch. Before a single letter turns into a digital product, countless hours are spent researching and sketching out ideas in pursuit of those perfect lines and shapes.
