About the family

Qimbo is a hand-drawn cut-out stencil display typeface that embodies a bold, handmade aesthetic. Its design features irregular, manually drawn letterforms with stencil breaks, resulting in a tactile, crafted appearance that makes a strong visual statement. The font boasts heavy stroke weights, open counters, and simplified shapes, ensuring clarity even at large sizes. Intentional subtle inconsistencies in outlines and spacing enhance the organic, hand-cut feel while preserving overall balance and readability. Optimized for display use, Qimbo excels in headlines, posters, packaging, children-focused graphics, adventure branding, playful editorial layouts, and expressive visual systems. Its stencil structure creates striking contrast against textured backgrounds, making it ideal for bold, high-energy compositions. Designed for impact rather than neutrality, Qimbo infuses character, warmth, and a distinctly handmade voice into projects that seek a fun, adventurous, and approachable tone.

About Resistenza

Resistenza specializes in type-design, branding, calligraphy & lettering. Giuseppe Salerno and Paco González are the two founder, italian and spanish, their passion for writing and handcrafted lettering became their strenghts. Brushy types, calligraphic strokes, orginality in faces are their best distinguished characteristic. The first type was Afrobeat, a multiline circular type that grows up very fast and becase their first product on the list. But afterwards may other experiments more expressive like Berliner Fraktur, or an english copperplate like Copperlove bring Giuseppe Salerno's hand into a typefaceThe Premium Foundry page can be viewed Here.
