Back in 2007, I got deeply into typography — spending hours studying letterforms, printing samples, and tweaking details. Some people probably thought I was obsessed. I ended up creating a few fonts while learning, mostly for fun. Like many designers who work on logos, I thought it would be a good idea to turn one into a full typeface (it usually isn’t). Looking back now, I smile at those experiments. A few of the fonts I made and released for free have since shown up in ads, menus, books, and posters in different places, which always feels nice to see. Maybe I’ll return to making fonts someday. For now, I just hope they continue to make someone else happy too. And a big thanks to everyone who has downloaded or bought them over the years.
