About the family

Introducing Sakiro — a modern handwritten font duo inspired by the quiet charm of Japanese hand written signage. Drawing from the clean, quiet character of hand-drawn lettering found on café and boutique signs tucked away in side streets, this type family balances organic imperfection with subtle structure. The set includes two complementary styles: an expressive script with soft brushstroke references, and a printed companion with both regular and italic weights. The script is carefully drawn with organic stroke details, creating a natural rhythm and movement. The printed style balances it perfectly — approachable yet structured, with just the right amount of character. With a generous selection of ligatures and alternates, the result is a typeface that looks beautifully hand-lettered right out of the box yet refined enough for contemporary branding. Minimal, tactile, and quietly expressive, Sakiro is ideal for food and beverage brands, travel and lifestyle projects, boutique packaging, and editorial design — anywhere a subtle human touch elevates the story.
