Saskia Nobir (Germany, 1982) works as a graphic designer and type designer in Zurich. It was during her exchange Semester at the Royal Academy of Arts, The Hague, that she first intensively encountered font design and developed a particular fondness for “micro-design”. Her first font Filo was developed whilst at a postgraduate course – “Certificate of Advanced Studies” in type design at Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK). The type family Filo Pro was developed in collaboration with URW++.
