Scriptique

Scriptique is an independent type foundry based in County Wexford on Ireland's south-east coast. What started as a creative project soon became a passion, leading me to study both modern calligraphy and the timeless discipline of Copperplate. Learning a traditional hand gave me a deep appreciation for the history, precision and craftsmanship behind every letter, an appreciation that continues to influence every typeface I create. That passion naturally evolved into type design. I wanted to transform lettering that was once created by hand for individual pieces into thoughtfully crafted typefaces that could be enjoyed by many rather than just a few. Every font is designed with care, balancing the beauty of traditional calligraphy with the flexibility and functionality today's designers need.
