About the family
A modern sensibility Gothic typeface designed with spacious "futokoro" (the space between strokes). The typeface was developed to ensure seamless alignment in both vertical and horizontal text layout, aiming for a harmonious design across orientations. This digital font recreates the Seibido Gothic typeface, which has been passed down from the era of woodblock printing to hand-drawn lettering. While preserving the impression of handwritten text composition, the "futokoro" has been broadened and modernized. This Gothic typeface is highly legible and eye-catching, designed specifically for headings, whether viewed from a distance or up close.
