About the family

Slipway Tales is a bold brush script with thick, flat-tipped strokes and a steady forward lean.

The weight is heavy and even — drawn with a wide brush held at a constant angle, the kind of mark a sign painter would leave on a wooden board. Letters tilt right, connect loosely, and end with a clean cut where the brush lifts. The capitals carry the same body as the lowercase, so a name reads with one voice rather than two.

It sits well above a workshop door, on the side of a wooden crate, on the cover of a paperback that wants to be picked up.

Designed and created by Mans Greback.

The font is built with advanced functionality and guaranteed top-notch quality, containing stylistic and contextual alternates, ligatures and more automatic and manual features; all to give you full control and customizability.

It has extensive lingual support, covering all Latin-based languages, from North Europa to South Africa, from America to South-East Asia. It contains all characters and symbols you'll ever need, including all punctuation and numbers.
