About the family

Sphinxed PB is a wildly quirky retro display font inspired by the title lettering from the 1968 Pink Panther cartoon episode Pink Sphinx. The original lettering mixed wedge serifs, flare serifs, and oddball terminal shapes with a loose, off-kilter rhythm that gives the type its unmistakable animated personality. This recreation captures that playful chaos while expanding it into a fully usable typeface with a broad extended Latin character set. Bold, eccentric, and delightfully unpredictable, Sphinxed PB is perfect for retro posters, cartoon titles, playful branding, comic-inspired graphics, and designs that lean into funky vintage character.
