About the family

Stockbridge is a tall, sculpted serif typeface that embodies quiet strength and historical significance. Inspired by engraved inscriptions from an 18th-century church in Leicester, it captures the poise and precision of hand-cut stone lettering. With its slender proportions and confident vertical stance, Stockbridge infuses contemporary typography with a sense of heritage and refinement. This typeface is perfect for logotypes, editorial headings, and branding that seeks to balance grace with authority. An alternate cut expands the design palette, introducing more expressive, stylistic letterforms that reflect the flourishes of the original carvings. OpenType features include standard and discretionary ligatures, alternates, and contextual refinements, enabling a seamless and characterful display. From the understated gravitas of a title page to the bold presence of a wordmark, Stockbridge is a testament to elegance shaped by time, a tall display serif crafted for those who appreciate craftsmanship, heritage, and detail. Language support: Afrikaans, Albanian, Asu, Basque, Bemba, Bena, Breton, Catalan, Chiga, Cornish, Danish, Dutch, English, Estonian, Faroese, Filipino, Finnish, French, Friulian, Galician, German, Gusii, Icelandic, Indonesian, Irish, Italian, Kabuverdianu, Kalenjin, Kinyarwanda, Luo, Luxembourgish, Luyia, Machame, Makhuwa-Meetto, Makonde, Malagasy, Manx, Morisyen, North Ndebele, Norwegian Bokmål, Norwegian Nynorsk, Nyankole, Oromo, Portuguese, Quechua, Romansh, Rombo, Rundi, Rwa, Samburu, Sango, Sangu, Scottish Gaelic, Sena, Shambala, Shona, Soga, Somali, Spanish, Swahili, Swedish, Swiss German, Taita, Teso, Uzbek (Latin), Volapük, Vunjo, Western Frisian, Zulu.
