Teeline Fonts

Teeline Fonts is a digital type foundry launched by Craig Eliason in 2010. He comes to font design from an academic perspective. A professor of modern art and design history at the University of St. Thomas in Saint Paul, Minnesota, USA, Dr. Eliason researches the history of type design, and particularly the history of its classification and vocabulary. He began designing his own fonts in 2008. Teeline's aim is to produce well-crafted, original fonts. Painstaking efforts to refine these designs are informed by attentive consideration of the historical tradition of letterform design. Teeline's fonts also make thoughtful use of the customization possibilities opened up by modern font formats like OpenType. Teeline's offerings aim to be both clever and functional.
