In the Sinhala Art alphabet, the teacher introduces the ‘Wakadeka’ design, characterized by its two-tone pattern created from curved shapes. Students are encouraged to refine this design until they achieve proficiency in their hand movements. My typefaces draw inspiration from traditional Sri Lankan designs, showcasing these unique shapes. I have thoughtfully integrated these styles with the English alphabet, creating a harmonious blend that reflects cultural heritage while maintaining modern usability.
