Tomomi Kanda

Tomomi Kanda creates typefaces that are both distinctive and easy to read, aiming for beauty while grounded in the calligraphy she has studied since childhood. Her typefaces have been released on platforms like Adobe Fonts and have received favorable reviews. In Japan, they are widely used for book and movie titles, posters, packaging, and more. She is a member of the Japan Typography Association and a part-time lecturer at Nara College of Art.

Awards include:Nitten Exhibition (Calligraphy Division) - Selected in 2023 and 2024;Typography Yearbook 2024 - Jury Prize.
