About YWFT Knit Font Family

YWFT Knit is an icon, symbol and pattern style dingbat font created with the ability to execute multiple design ideas. The font was designed with special kerning, allowing the ability on certain letter combos to create intriguing pattern designs. This isn't your typical dingbat design either, it comes filled with 241 unique glyphs, extended in areas like basic latin, latin-1, latin-extended a/b, greek and coptic, currency, mathematical operators and many other special delights. For best use, open in Adobe Illustrator with the glyph window open as well. This way you can see all the characters at hand, and type or choose the icon/symbol you want. A general method that always returns a good result, is to choose 3 characters per line, and loop them for interesting folk-like patterns. For example, some interesting letter combinations would be: ae ae ae ae or gsh gsh gsh.

About YouWorkForThem

For nearly 20 years, brands like Apple, Disney, Nike, Harley Davidson, Starbucks, Valve, Whole Foods, Samsung, Harvard, Cartoon Network and many more have chosen YouWorkForThem Fonts to represent themselves. In fact, we originally started the YouWorkForThem brand as a storefront to sell our fonts, since we had moved from client work to focus on the design process itself. Since then, even though we're now known more as a retailer, we're still a foundry at heart, and our creative studio has continued to produce and offer unique font designs. Michael Paul Young is the sole manager and director of YouWorkForThem.
