Plywood is based on a long lost American film classic: Franklin Typefounders’s Barker Flare from the early 1970s.
Plywood is a surprisingly effective mix between the rigid confidence of nineteenth century wood types and the smooth feminine curves of twentieth century art nouveau ideas.
