About this font family
The inspiration source for MFC Sansome Monogram is a decorative serif lettering style that comes from the book Henderson’s Sign Painter from 1906. Known as “Rustic Roman” and originally designed by John F. Irwin, this fantastic typeface has been digitally revived and expanded for monogram designs. While the original lettering did not include numerals and was never originally intended for monograms, its ornate nature lends itself so wonderfully to the craft.
