About the family

LinkeHand Pro was based on the handwriting of Oliver Linke. Due to its rather compact appearance with short ascenders and descenders LinkeHand can be used with rather tight line spacing. Both Regular and Bold come with Small Caps and a multitude of special ligatures to make LinkeHand look really manually written.

About Oliver Linke Type Foundry

Oliver Linke is a typeface designer, teacher, consultant and author. He is co-founder of Lazydogs Typefoundry, teaches at the Munich Designschool and other universities and leads international workshops. He is author of two monographs (2007 and 2013) and published the comprehensive reference book »Schrift. Wahl und Mischung« (2022) together with Kai Büschl. From 2012 to 2016 he was elected vice president of Typographische Gesellschaft München. In 2019 he was appointed member of the German DIN Standards Committee »Schriften«. Since 2021 he is the programme leader at Munich Designschool.
