About this font family
Plakat is based on lettering by 1920s advertising calligrapher Samuel Welo.
It is a complete upper and lower case set with a number of alternate characters, all with a rough, decorative look accented by curls and hooks. If you like the look of our popular Scurlock font, Plakat has a similar aesthetic, though it is even bolder.
