About the family

Battlemaze is a typeface that channels the precision of Japanese industrial logos and the chunky geometry of 1980s tech design into a display face built for impact. Its compact, folded-line construction creates a dense, mechanical rhythm that’s as clear at small sizes as it is commanding on a billboard. The name hints at its ideal habitat: sci-fi game titles, heads-up displays, and any project that needs the structural punch of a futuristic control panel. Angular cuts in letters like “A” and “V” bring energy, while a contextual feature flips the “B” in certain letter pairs for a small but memorable glitch effect. With extended Latin coverage and select Cyrillic support, Battlemaze works across languages while holding onto its industrial edge. Use it when you want your typography to feel engineered, game-ready, and unmistakably commanding.
