Midwest Type

Midwest Type is an independent typeface design studio based in Akron, Ohio, USA, founded in 2014 by designer and illustrator Jesse R. Ewing. The studio specializes in original fonts with a Midwestern sensibility. That means approachable, practical fonts that work hard. They may be a little quirky, too, but once you get to know them they’ll be friends for life.
