Moritz Kleinsorge is a type and graphic designer based on the lower Rhine Area close to Düsseldorf, Germany. He started off his career as a graphic designer working with different design agencies in Düsseldorf focussing on digital media. To expand his knowledge, he subsequently studied Information and Communication Design at Rhine-Waal University and fell in love with his true passion: typography and type design! He started to explore new horizons and achieved his first success when his bachelor thesis –the typeface James– was published at Branding with type.
Now, in 2018, Moritz can already look back at two subsequent releases, the typefaces Klainy and Campuni. Simultaneously, Moritz is attending the Expert Class Type Design in Antwerp and is completing his Master in Communication Design at Peter Behrens School of Art in Düsseldorf.
Having a graphic designer background, he sets a strong personal character in his typefaces that can stand out nicely in any design. He’s meticulous and hard-working with a knack for expressive but controlled type design without abandoning the precision every single detail requires.
