Archetypo.xyz are Joaquín Contreras and Miguel Hernández Montoya, South American typedesigners based in Germany, We think that a font acquires high quality with a full dedication to the typographical details and a knowledge of the graphic history. With an eye on the well know type archetypes and the other on the rest of world. We love small families, for a better everyday use of our typefaces and a craftsman approach for our lives. Our designers have been featured in the Biennial Tipos Latinos on several occasions and they also have been part of the jury. They have worked as pre and postgraduate teachers, and are independent researchers.
