Hell

Founded by Dr. Rudolf Hell in the 1960s, pioneer of high quality, high production digital typesetters. Hell had a small library of their own generation, containing a number of original designs (mainly by Gerard Unger) plus the entire Bitstream library. In the late 1970s Hell became a subsidiary of Siemens. Merged with Linotype AG in 1990 to become Linotype-Hell AG.
