Sheehan Sista

"I'm Sheehan Sista, a designer originally from Bangalore, India and currently based in Leipzig, Germany. I love designing letterforms, I love both learning about and challenging conventions and I strive for utmost precision. I believe that typeface design is all about the growth and maturation of simple, often ill-formed ideas, through hours of modification and expansion into a family of shapes. It's all about the process. Almost any idea can find its way to being a fabulous set of well-functioning letter forms. This process of taking the blank slate of an idea in its infancy and developing it into something robust and beautiful is what my work is all about... and I think it comes across as such in the typefaces that result.
