Frans Swahn is a Swedish typeface designer living in Canada, creating typefaces for body and typefaces for display, inspired by the work of S.H. de Roos & Roger Excoffon, as well as contemporary poster design. Frans' typefaces for body attempt to instill serif faces with new energy while remaining elegant and to challenge the dogmas of sans serifs. His display faces emphasize sharp angles and strong contrasts to enable eye-catching designs.
